PS: James's Command Chair!

James is also too big for his car seat now so we went to get him a new one. We were appalled at the size of the convertible seats--they are just HUGE! They are heavy and bulky and look like a pain, especially for people like us who move from vehicle to vehicle. So we looked into various brands and went with one recommended by several family members--the Britax Marathon. It will hold him until he is 65 lbs and it means we can keep him rear-facing until 30lbs which is safer. It also has the easiest system for putting it into cars that don't have the LATCH system so we can easily move it from car to car. But, it meant a 50 minute bus ride to the baby store in Bedford that sells them. We discovered James is a great bus rider in Halifax but is really only good for about 10 to 15 minutes on the bus and then gets squirrel-y. The last 15 minutes home this afternoon were ugly! Oh well. He seems very intrigued and impressed with his new command chair.
